Review about Team RH fitness
1. It isn’t made clear that sign up is for a minimum of 12 months, it’s in the small print check box rather than being made clear when selecting a plan. 2. “Support” is only available after tracking consistently for 21 days if you aren’t seeing an improvement. Obviously if you follow the plan you will see an improvement, the reason for signing up for this expensive course is because just following a plan without support isn’t working, so making the support conditional on compliance is completely unhelpful. 3. Protein targets are set higher than the latest evidence suggests is beneficial (1-1.2g/kg), and significantly higher than the RDA. Fortunately if you’re struggling to meet this Team RH will sell you protein powder to help(!) I noticed in the group chats that a lot of members are using this to hit their goals. Protein powders tend to be ultra processed and less healthy than aiming for a lower protein goal would be. 4. In a similar vein, it seems harder to track a healthy and varied diet using this app than it would be to eat more ready meals. By the time I’ve inputted the meals I make they’re scoring well, but weighing everything out (and weighing the completed recipe after cooking, and weighing the empty pot…!) takes ages. In this age of AI there are quicker ways to do this - and actually planning to cancel in favour of an AI assisted food tracker, the only thing I really needed the app for, is how I discovered the sneaky 12 month contract.
